I am looking for a 3D social MMO game, much like Second Life or Onverse, but that is completely free. None that involve buying any kind of currency in the game. Also, I would like the ability to build house like most other 3D social MMO games. If you could provide a link to the sites, if any, I would be greatly appreciative.

@Gethanis: No, there's no co-op mode in Torchlight. Sadly I can't think of any co-op RPG that isn't online or at least over local network :(

Deepdown: It's my understanding that the creator of Fate was involved in developing Torchlight, so there shouldn't be a conflict of interest here. Of course you would be right to say that the gameplay is identical, but it's sequel rather than ripoff.

Wrong, Torchlight actually steals every bit of it's design from a WildTanget game called "Fate" and subsequently it's expansion "Undiscovered Realms". TorchLight and Diablo share absolutey nothing in common, aside from the fact that they're both RPG fantasies, surprise? Having a pet that acts as a mobile inventory that can sell loot for you, was an original concept developed by Fate. Fishing for fish that can give your pet increased attributes, different look and abilities, was also an original concept developed by Fate.

"Fame" also, was an original concept developed by fate. Fate isn't a very well known dungeon crawler mainly because of it's type of vendor and marketing scheme which prevents it from being available to the genre specific audience. It's a great game in it's own right because it added new elements to the monotonous dungeon crawler.

If i was [snip] enough i'd look into their copyright clauses and probably inform them that a game is using their design, but, this is internet. got2get ur hustle on lolz.
