BioWare Reveals Sith Warrior Class for SWTOR

Some more details about the upcoming MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic has trickled out to eager fans. This time, BioWare has lifted the curtain off the Sith Warrior Class.Sith Warriors are obviously fighting for the dark side, and from the looks of it at BioWare’s less than straightforward class presentation, the Sith Warrior looks like a classic tank class. Dual lightsabers are apparently the weapon of choice, but they will also have some amount of force powers to play with – to “paralyze, terrify, and kill” as per the official statement. Of the classes revealed so far, this one looks like your best bet if you want to play a Darth Vader-ish character in SW: The Old Republic (or Darth Whatshisname, Maul?).

Again, this is a tank class, meaning that the modus operandi of these Warriors won’t be beating around the bush like the previously announced Smuggler class (Rogue in standard RPG speak). They will pound their enemies with lightsabers as their primary killing tactic.
Sith Warriors will also be able to use heavy armor, and the official site also mentions some sort of experimental components in the armor, which could indicate that there will be some way to customize your gear in SWTOR.

The classes we know of so far in the new Star Wars MMO are: Smuggler, Trooper, Bounty Hunter and now Sith Warrior. Four more classes are still unknown, or three, as a Jedi class feels like a pretty safe bet.
