Dragon Age: In Development for Ages
Posted on 17 August 2009 by Rock'nRolf

Unfortunately, the release of BioWare’s next big thing, Dragon Age, has been pushed back to November instead of the early 2009 release that was initially scheduled. It’s been in development for at least five years (it was officially announced in 2004).
All of us BioW
are fan-geeks have been repeatedly hit by a +5 Staff of Ritual Disappointment as we’ve been hearing rumors upon rumors about further delays. the latest rumor has it that the PC version is ready and waiting, only laying around for the release of the PS3 and Xbox360 versions.
It’s too bad that the game isn’t using D&D rules or is even set in the Forgotten Realms which we’ve gotten used to in BioWare RPGs by now, but nonetheless it looks like the game is shaping up pretty nicely. Of course, if you’re looking for a non-biased opinion look elsewhere – personally I’ve yet to see a non-awesome game from BioWare.
By the way, here’s the Dragon Age E3 Demo:
The game is currently waiting to be released on October 20, whereas the Collector’s Edition is coming November 3. No news yet about what you get from opting for the latter.
